Stand up paddleboard fins are an essential part of your paddleboard. Without fins your board would start to turn radically with every stroke, making the whole paddling unstable.
Fins allows you to move forward in a relatively straight line, or “track”. They prevent the tail of the board from slipping sideways as you put pressure on either side of the board as you go through your stroke.
Freein paddle boards comes equipped with various fin boxes. The different design of the fin also affects speed, stability and how easily you can turn your board.Your fin should fit tightly into the fin box.
Insert fin, from first then lower into place until flush against bottom of fin clamp. Slide pin in hole to hold fin securely.
Note: The two fixed side fins may become curved or mi-shaped due during storage and shipping. This is not a defect and the fins will gradually regain their normal shape.

As the weather gets colder, many paddlers maybe want to know how to store their board for the winter properly. In fact, it’s simple to store a SUP.
Here are a few best practices for inflatable SUP Storage.
First of all, a good location should avoid the following three environments.
Sunlight: Longtime direct sunlight can decolor the board and damage the service life
Moisture: A wet environment can encourage mold and mildew and possibly damage your board.
Temperature: Exposure to high temperatures, it may cause EVA to disengage and affect the airtightness of the board.
*Always store your boards in a place where it is cool, dry, and below 25 ℃, avoid direct sunlight whether winter or summer.
Before stowing your board away, it is very important to clear off dirt, sand, salt, or grime on your board.
Just make your sup is completely dry and clean, we recommend using an all-purpose cleaner or soup for cleaning your paddleboard.
Leaving the fins on the board will not hurt the board, it would be better to store your fin separately to avoid damaging it when storing or moving. (Place the fin with other parts in safe place where you will REMEMBER where to find it)
For inflatable boards, you can store them either inflated or deflated.
If you are lucky enough to have enough indoor storage space, leaning your board against a clean wall is a good way to go
Put your board in the bag and store it in the space where it should be clean.
we don't recommend having it rolled tightly in the bag. To avoid any potential forming of creases/fold marks, leaving it unrolled (either inflated or deflated) is best practice.
Finally, we placed our board, the only thing left is to wait for good weather and get back on the water!

Stand up paddle boarding is a super easy water sport to learn and you can become an expert paddle boarder in no time.
Today, we’re going to discuss everything you need to know about inflatable paddle boards and mastering the basics of how to paddle sup in four steps
Adjust the paddle to the proper height, which It should top out 6’’ above your head – roughly a hand’s breadth. Keep your arms relatively straight to get a wider range of motion. You will be using a lot of core strength, more so than your arms. Paddle using a down and back motion, dipping the paddle in the water at the front side of your board and pushing it towards the back side. Switch sides every few paddles to remain straight.
Holding a paddle board paddle is similar to how you would hold a canoe paddle. Place one hand on the T Bar grip at the top of the shaft and the other hand slightly past the the middle, closer to the blade. You can switch hands as needed to paddle on both sides to keep the board straight. Make sure the paddle is facing the right way! The angle of the blade should be facing away from you- this will eliminate drag.
TIP: Holding your PADDLE the front of your paddle should face the same direction as you.
Before you dream of endless hours on the water or setting out on a rustic river trek, you must first learn how to stand on your board.
You’ll notice the carry handle that you used to bring your board in the water located right in the middle of the deck. That is the center and balance point of the paddleboard. When you get on your board, Kneeling on board with knees on either side of the carry handle, make sure bodyweight is centered over the board both sideways and lengthwise.
In the kneeling position, lean forward and place the paddle horizontally across the deck of the board. Grip the sides of the board with both hands
Slowly stand one foot at a time, placing your feet on the sweet spot where your knees where. Continue gripping the board to help stabilize yourself. Rise to a standing position, adjusting your feet as necessary. They should be hip-width apart, and you should feel relatively stable. Make sure to bend your knees slightly and keep your core centered over the board.
Forward stroke(This basic stroke propels your board forward through the water.)
Place the paddle in the water at arm’s length and draw it back along the board, keeping your top hand and blade perpendicular.
To stay in a straight line, take a few strokes on one side then switch to a few strokes on the other.
To turn left, place the paddle in the water on the right side. At the same time, turn your torso to the left side.
Keep a low stance and pull to the right, towards the tail with the paddle, while twisting and leaning to the left with your torso. You’ll feel the board shift to the left quickly.
Sweep Stroke(The sweep stroke is useful for turning your board while standing still or moving.)
To change direction, push water towards the tail on one side and the nose on the other. You’ll turn faster if the blade is away from the board.
With just a little practice, you will be paddle boarding like a pro in no time. just enjoy the ride.

There are so many different types of SUP on the market nowadays, For beginners, you may struggle to figure out which type of board is the most suitable, here are the basics to help you know the difference between each type.
The most popular and affordable paddle boards on the market today are the all-around boards. If you’re a rider who wants to explore the versatility of stand up paddling, this board type is the perfect option. The all-around shape is ideal for beginner or intermediate riders
The touring paddle board is primarily used for long distances in flatwater, open ocean, bays and lakes and has a long, narrow shape which make touring board cuts through chop with ease and tracks in a fast, straight line.
They are typically longer than all-round boards, and often have a nose that is pointed to help the board slice through the water smoothly, increase glide and help the board go straight.
Even most touring boards are wide enough to be stable for beginners However, these boards require a higher level paddling skills to maneuver than all-round board due to their length and are much less stable than nearly every other type of board. In general, touring boards are not best recommended for beginners.
People often say that race paddleboards aren’t stable. That’s actually pretty accurate comparing it to the previous type of paddleboard. However, they’re not as hard to manage as people assume that it is.
These are being constructed in a way that they’re longer and slimmer. But that doesn’t really set much a bar, the only thing that it does is its price. Race Paddleboards have only but one goal in mind – reducing the drag so that speed would increase. That’s why these boards are made out of materials which are lighter.
Also, these require a bit of modification. For instance, a displaced hull will be utilized as it helps in slicing through the water seamlessly. Tour or race boards sacrifice their width for thickness. When they do this, it reduces the drag without having to deal with volume fallbacks.
If you want to be seen as awesome, try this on for size. Once you get the hang of it, they are fun to use. And your speed on water increases dramatically. But this isn’t ideal for beginners as it needs time to practice, if you’re not interested in spending a couple of weeks catching waves, this isn’t for you.
Not to mention, you have to spend an extra three to four hundred dollars for this. On the other hand, if you want speed and awesomeness, this is definitely a green signal for you.
Yoga/ fitness sup
Yoga and fitness paddle boards are suited for anything from Yoga to simply doing push ups or stretching on board. Yoga and Fitness boards are usually from 10 to 12 feet in length, range and the 32”-34” width range to offer optimal stability, but also remain nice handling boards for general cruising when not doing Yoga. To ensure your hands and feet have grip and traction, Yoga and Fitness boards generally have a full length deck pads.
It’s not just adults that love stand up paddle boarding, Kids can paddle on smaller boards than adults, just because they weigh less and need less buoyancy. But that doesn’t mean they can’t paddle on a board that’s also big enough to support an adult.
